When did you start slacklining?

I started in 2012 and there was any slacker in my city. So my friend bought a kit and we tried to repeat what we saw in videos on YouTube and learned trickline. It was the first method that I tried and today is my passion.

 

What kept you hooked?

It's the challenge it provides me, every time that I climb of the slackline is a new challenge. Overcome my fears, my limitations is the best sensation in the world.

 

What is your proudest accomplishment in slacklining?

It was to bring my passion for slackline to my job like a physiotherapist. I always had a interest. When I was a professional slacker, I had idea to create a project that is call 'slacktherapy'. It involves slackline, TRX and functional training. Improving the capacity functional of people sedentary and athletes. The slackline provided me make that I love in fun and at work. The invitation to join part of the team of SI ambassador's make me a fight any more to my dreams come true!

 

What is your favorite trick?

My favorite trick is back bounce. I really like to make combos with back bounce.

 

What’s unique about your style compared to the rest of the team?

I like to study my maneuver and try to do correctly. In the middle there are little freestyle and grabs.

 

Do you have any advice for all the new slackliners out there?

My message to all slackliners in the world is to enjoy and spread slacklining as a family and do your personal best on the line whenever you can.

 

Do you have any advice in Portuguese for all the new slackliners out there?

Slackline é mais que um esporte, é uma filosofia de vida, ele te mantém equilibrado na linha e na vida, mostra o quanto somos capazes de superar todos os desafios que a vida nos da. Continue caminhando, pesevere.
